Responsibilities of the role include:
- State-Issued insurance license.
- Strong sales skills to meet company sales goals.
- Network with potential customers.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance plans.
- Ensure insurance policies and recommend additional coverage when needed
- Maintain bookkeeping systems, database, and records
- Evaluate business and individual customers’ needs, financial status, and propose protection plans that meet their criteria
- Create and implement marketing strategies to promote insurance policies or to suggest additions to existing ones.
