Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper with bookkeeping experience and a passion for helping others. In this role, you will manage financial records, accounts, and overall financial operations. This part-time position offers flexible hours and can be performed remotely or on-site, based on your preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

• Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts

• Prepare and process payroll

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports

• Manage invoicing and track donations for the organization

• Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial regulations and policies

• Support financial planning and budgeting in collaboration with the executive team

• Utilize QuickBooks, Excel, and Word to process transactions and generate reports

• Assist with financial audits as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in bookkeeping, preferably within a nonprofit organization

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Word

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Passion for supporting a mission-driven organization

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a flexible work environment

• Experience in payroll processing is a plus

• Knowledge of nonprofit accounting practices is a bonus

Additional Information:

• Direct hire, part-time position (20 hours per week)
