Plant Manager/PCB Manager

Our client is an electronic manufacturing service provider of Printed Circuit Board Assembly, cable, harness assembly.  We are looking for a manufacturing engineer to lead in the manufacturing process and production of all electronics and cable assembly.  

 
  1. Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Manage and oversee the PCB manufacturing team and area
  • Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods
  • Develops work instructions for production processes.
  • Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
  • Determines the parts, equipment, and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
  • Works on projects, Connect with customers on design and requirements specifications
  • Leads a team designing best manufacturing practices
  • Responsible for meeting Customer requirements, Process analytics and measurables
  • Managing and overseeing overall plant operations which may include finance, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, materials, quality assurance/control, human resources and information systems.
  • Calculates Labor, Material and other production costs

2. Knowledge/Education
  • Requires a bachelor's degree of engineering (Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing or related fields)
  • Minimum of 2+ years in manufacturing processes and must have prior PCB experience
  • Knowledge of Quality Standards (IPC610, IPC620, ISO9001, ISO 13485) is a plus
  • Knowledge in Electronic PCB assembly, Cables and Harness Assembly
  • Project Management, SWOT analysis

  • Experienced in Excel and Word
  • Fast learner and passion for manufacturing and customer service
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Professional level verbal and written communications skills

4. Experience
  • Proven experience in manufacturing methods and practices
  • Production manufacturing, supervision, managing and scheduling
  • Epicor ERP knowledge is a plus

4. Compensation and Benefits
  • $100-$110K, based on knowledge and experience
  • PTO (Paid Time Off)

5. Location
This is an in-person, direct hire role based in Rochester Hills, MI
