Job Title: Quality Inspector

Pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (10-hour or 8-hour shifts); weekends as needed Position Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team in Southeast Michigan. The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting engineered fabrications and finished products, reading mechanical drawings, and applying knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). This is a hands-on position requiring both shop-floor and office work, with the ability to lift 25–50 lbs. Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect engineered fabrications, in-process production, and final products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other precision tools.
• Document and log inspection results, deficiencies, and acceptable quality metrics in quality systems.
• Review technical drawings and assist in resolving non-conformance issues.
• Maintain measurement equipment and follow proper operating procedures.
• Ensure quality processes and equipment meet industry and internal standards.
• Participate in final release approval of product shipments, including documentation review.
• Collect and manage test, control, and inspection documentation for as-built records.
• Support improvements in manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of quality inspection experience preferred
• Background in QC for oil & gas or industrial equipment is a plus
• Proficient with measurement tools and interpreting technical drawings
• Comfortable working in a shop and office setting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/work in a hands-on manufacturing environment
