Senior CNC Programmer/Machinist – 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (occasional Saturdays)
Pay: Based on experience
Contract: 90-day contract-to-hire

A manufacturing facility in Roseville is seeking an experienced Senior CNC Programmer/Machinist to support its growing operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for a skilled professional who excels in both programming and precision machining within a prototype or production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate CNC machines to produce complex parts to tight tolerances.

  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to develop efficient machining strategies.

  • Select tools, set up machines, and optimize machining parameters for accuracy and productivity.

  • Create, edit, and troubleshoot G-code programs using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar).

  • Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams on new designs and prototype development.

  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with customer and internal specifications.

  • Support continuous improvement of machining processes and workflow efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining.

  • Proficient in G-code programming and CAD/CAM systems.

  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.

  • Experience with multiple CNC machine types (mills, lathes, 3-5 axis).

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • High attention to detail, with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
