Carbon Inspector
Location: Roseville, MI
Pay: $18–$22/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM & some Saturdays as needed
Contract: 90-day contract to hire

We are looking for a reliable Carbon Inspector to support the quality department in inspecting high-precision carbon fiber components used in prototype and production builds for automotive and aerospace applications. This role is critical in ensuring all parts meet strict customer and internal quality standards.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections on carbon fiber parts

• Use drawings, specs, and inspection tools to verify product accuracy

• Record and report inspection results and flag non-conformances

• Collaborate with team leads and engineers to resolve quality issues

• Maintain proper documentation and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

• Follow safety and quality procedures in a production environment

Qualifications:

• Prior experience inspecting carbon fiber or composite materials preferred

• Familiarity with blueprints, technical drawings, and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Manufacturing or quality control experience a plus

• Solid communication skills and a proactive attitude
