Shift: 6AM Start Time
Contract-to-Hire: 90 Days
Pay: $18–$22/hour (based on experience)

Job Overview
The Receiving Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming materials and components to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards. This role supports production and inventory by verifying the accuracy of shipments and maintaining detailed records of inspections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming parts and materials for conformance to specifications

  • Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing slips

  • Document inspection results, noting any discrepancies or non-conformances

  • Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

  • Communicate with purchasing and quality teams regarding inspection issues

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all received materials

  • Tag and route non-conforming parts for further review

  • Ensure incoming goods are stored properly and safely

  • Follow company safety and quality policies

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Prior experience in receiving inspection or quality control

  • Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement techniques

  • Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
