Job Title: Welder – MIG/TIG (Sheet Metal Department)

Shift: 2nd Shift (Starts at 2:00 PM)

Pay: Based on Experience

Type: 90-Day Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join our Sheet Metal Department on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience working with precision sheet metal components, performing high-quality welds, and reading and interpreting blueprints to meet exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal components according to blueprints and job specifications.

• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.

• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and conformance to standards.

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Minimum 2 years of MIG and TIG welding experience, preferably in a sheet metal environment.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.

• Experience with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
