Job Title: Quality Inspector / Cut & Etch

Pay: Based on experience
Shift: 2nd Shift – 2:00 PM Start Time
Contract: 90-day contract to hire

We are seeking a Quality Inspector / Cut & Etch Technician to join our team. This position plays a critical role in inspecting and documenting weld quality through sample preparation and microscopic evaluation.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and prepare metal, alloy, or component samples for analysis.

• Perform cut and etch inspections using microscopes (Keyence or other).

• Identify weld quality issues including cracks, porosity, inclusions, and structural flaws.

• Document microstructure and surface conditions accurately.

• Capture and archive photographic evidence for reporting

• Maintain thorough inspection records for traceability and audit compliance.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Keyence or similar microscope equipment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.

• Background in welding inspection, metallurgy, or quality preferred.

• High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift – 2:00 PM start

• Monday – Friday, with occasional overtime as needed
