Manufacturing Engineer – Automotive Assembly
Salary: $110,000 – $125,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to optimize the assembly and testing of mechatronic products in a fast-paced automotive production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLCs, PLEX Manufacturing Cloud, statistical analysis, continuous improvement, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and optimize assembly processes for current production and new product lines.

  • Develop and implement in-process and end-of-line testing procedures.

  • Analyze manufacturing data using statistical methods to improve processes.

  • Drive automation initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

  • Conduct capacity analysis to ensure optimal resource utilization.

  • Implement measures to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

  • Maintain documentation of assembly and testing processes, work instructions, and quality control measures.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.

  • Contribute to budget planning, project timelines, and special assignments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in automotive assembly of mechatronic systems.

  • Proficiency in middleware such as Ignition and PLC.

  • Experience with PLEX Manufacturing Cloud.

  • Strong knowledge of assembly processes and automation in manufacturing.

  • Background in statistical analysis, continuous improvement, and OEE strategies.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
