CNC Machine Operator – 1st & 2nd Shifts

We are seeking CNC Machine Operators to join our team in Detroit. Machine Operators play a vital role in the manufacturing process, machining high-quality components and serving as the first line of defense in quality control. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, teamwork, and problem-solving are highly valued.
Run first-piece inspections and confirm specifications before production
Operate CNC machines to produce components that meet all quality standards
Use gauges to verify tolerances and ensure accuracy
Perform mechanical adjustments to maintain specifications
Complete required documentation and labeling for production batches
Perform routine preventative maintenance (oiling, cleaning, bit changes)
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Work collaboratively to troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time
High School Diploma or GED
Experience operating CNC machines and using measurement gauges
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Basic math skills (addition/subtraction with decimals)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, pulling, twisting, gripping)
Safety-first mindset and ability to work in a team environment
Must pass a drug test and background check
1st Shift: 6:00 AM | $15.00/hour
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM | $15.00/hour
Overtime available
This is an on-site, contract role with full-time hours.
