Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support students and teachers in a public middle school setting. This role provides academic and behavioral support, assists with classroom management, and helps create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in daily classroom activities and lesson implementation

• Support individual and small groups of students with academic or behavioral needs

• Help maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment

• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers

• Assist with instructional materials, technology, and classroom resources

• Support students during transitions, lunch, and other school activities

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or coursework in education preferred

• Experience working with children in an educational, childcare, or mentoring setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students

• Patience, adaptability, and a commitment to student success
