Job Title: Sr. Program Manager – Automotive
Type: Full-Time
Salary: $130,000 – $150,000/year
Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Sr. Program Manager to lead and execute key automotive initiatives. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, capable of driving RFQ support, VA/VE activities, line transfers, and new business launches through APQP management.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution: Support RFQs and new business acquisition processes, define program scope, budgets, and schedules, and write/submit investment plans for new program awards.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead engineering, operations, quality, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure alignment and execution; maintain CFT matrix for ownership continuity.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as main point of contact for customers and internal leadership; manage expectations and ensure program success.
Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation and resolution strategies.
Financial & Budget Oversight: Manage program budgets and cash flow, ensuring all VAVE, CI, validation, and launch activities are completed within financial constraints.
Performance Monitoring: Track program performance against milestones, budgets, and quality standards; lead phased gate signoffs; maintain documentation in compliance with IATF, ISO, and customer requirements.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance program management processes, tools, and methodologies; manage APQP task logs and documentation.

Project Management Tools: Proficiency with APQP, Microsoft Project, and other planning tools.
Flexibility: Ability to travel and work flexible hours as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience in automotive program management or product development.
Experience with powertrain components preferred.
