Job Title: Civil Drafter
Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Drafter with a background in civil or utility design using AutoCAD Civil 3D. The Drafter will support project teams in preparing plan and profile drawings for road and utility projects while ensuring high-quality design standards and timely deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the setup and preparation of detailed project drawings during planning and design.

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Technicians to deliver drawings on schedule.

  • Prepare permit drawing sets including plans, elevations, sections, details, and notes.

  • Understand AutoCAD requirements for various clients and internal standards.

  • Perform QA/QC on drawing files to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Coordinate project deadlines with project team members.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in AutoCAD drafting or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of AutoCAD Civil experience.

  • Experience with MDOT and MicroStation preferred.

  • Excellent technical, written, and oral communication skills.

  • Knowledge of industry practices and regulations.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

  • Primarily office-based with occasional field work.

  • Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, and building programs.

  • Ability to travel as needed for project support.
