Job Title: Associate Process Engineer
Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 (based on experience)
Overview
A growing electronic manufacturing service provider is seeking an Associate Process Engineer with hands-on experience in cable harnesses and printed circuit board assembly (PCBA). This role plays a key part in process setup, documentation, and quoting for labor, material, and tooling. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes ownership of process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed process work instructions and related documentation.
Support the sales team with new business quoting and process evaluations.
Analyze technical drawings to create bills of materials (BOMs).
Build first-piece articles for new assemblies.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot assembly processes and machines.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across production areas.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure production schedules and quality standards are met.
Support new process development and documentation for equipment and assembly stations.
Qualifications
Education:
Degree in Electronics or Manufacturing, or a High School Diploma with relevant experience.
IPC-610 and/or IPC-620 certification preferred.
Experience & Skills:
Minimum 2 years of technician experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
Experience with Zuken/Rapid Harness or similar wire harness design software is a plus.

Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 (commensurate with experience)
