CNC Programmer/Machinist

Shift: 1st
Type: 700-hour Contract-to-Hire

A well-established CNC machining facility is seeking a CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our team. We’re looking for an experienced professional skilled in programming and machining low-volume precision components. This position involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and has hands-on experience with Haas and Fanuc controls as well as Visi programming software.

Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision components

  • Use Haas and Fanuc controls for operation and troubleshooting

  • Create and modify CNC programs using Visi programming software

  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions

  • Select tooling and optimize machining processes for efficiency and accuracy

  • Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience programming and operating CNC machines (Haas and Fanuc required)

  • Proficiency with Visi programming or similar CAD/CAM software

  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T

  • Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving skills

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
