Job Title: Drafter
Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:
We are seeking a Civil Drafter with experience in civil or utility design using AutoCAD Civil 3D. The role involves preparing plan and profile drawings for road and utility projects while supporting project teams and clients throughout the design process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and prepare detailed project drawings during planning and design phases

  • Work with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Technicians to deliver drawings on schedule

  • Prepare permit drawing sets including plans, elevations, sections, details, and notes

  • Understand and apply AutoCAD requirements for various clients

  • Perform QA/QC on drawing files

  • Coordinate project deadlines with project teams

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Project Manager

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in AutoCAD drafting or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 3 years of AutoCAD Civil experience

  • MDOT and MicroStation experience a plus

  • Proficient in Adobe, Microsoft Office, and Outlook

  • Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with industry practices and regulations

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based with some field work as required

  • Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, and building programs
