Job Title: Upgrader / Shop Assistant
Shift: Day Shift
Pay: $16 – $18/hr (depending on experience)
Position Type: 700-hour Contract-to-Hire

Overview:
We are seeking a smart, energetic individual to join our team as an Upgrader (Shop Assistant). This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with some shop experience who are eager to learn and grow. Most of our Upgrader hires eventually move into machinist positions, making this a great opportunity for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist shop personnel with daily tasks as needed

• Move jobs between machines and workstations

• Empty machine chips and perform light janitorial duties

• Help maintain a clean and organized shop environment

Qualifications:

• Some shop or hands-on experience preferred

• Hilo/forklift experience is a plus, but not required

• Energetic, reliable, and eager to learn
