Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic (2nd Shift)
Pay Range: $27 – $32 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 2nd Shift
About the Role
We’re seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our growing 2nd shift team. This hands-on role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of production and facility equipment, including motors, CNC machines, hydraulics, conveyors, and more. The ideal candidate is a skilled problem-solver with solid mechanical and electrical aptitude who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment (motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, CNCs, compressors, etc.)
Install and relocate production equipment, including setup, leveling, plumbing, and electrical connections
Rebuild or recondition faulty components for reuse
Work collaboratively with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations teams
Perform preventative maintenance per established schedules
Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics
Operate forklifts, cranes, and rigging equipment safely
Perform basic welding and torch cutting when needed
Assist with electrical repairs as applicable to skill level
Follow all Lock Out/Tag Out and safety procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
One-year technical certificate and three years of related experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and maintenance instructions
Basic computer skills for email and maintenance tracking systems
Strong math and problem-solving skills
Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, and lift moderate loads throughout the shift
Must be able to safely operate tools and equipment in an industrial setting
