Job Title: Mechanical Stamping Press Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift 

Location: Warren, MI
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM), some overtime expected

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Mechanical Stamping Press Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity on the 2nd shift. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with experience on stamping presses, production feed lines, and electrical troubleshooting without relying on prints. PLC knowledge is a significant plus. The position requires someone who can work independently, assist in training other maintenance technicians, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical stamping presses and associated production equipment.

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues without prints using strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot feed lines to ensure smooth production flow.

  • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.

  • Support and train other maintenance technicians as needed.

  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

  • Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and other plant safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with mechanical stamping presses and feed line operations.

  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems without prints.

  • PLC knowledge is highly desirable.

  • Experience mentoring or training other maintenance technicians preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing safety regulations and procedures.
