Job Title: Mill Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Mill Operators to support tool shop machining operations. This role involves programming, setup, and operation of milling machines to produce precision components in accordance with customer data, GD&T, and quality standards. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a structured manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Utilize customer-supplied product data, datum schemes, and GD&T requirements
Access and manage electronic job folders containing customer configuration data
Program milling machines to meet customer specifications and compliance requirements
Utilize mill software and NC sheets to maintain accurate machining information
Assist with design and development planning as needed
Obtain required approvals throughout design and machining stages
Update engineering changes to fixtures and check aids as required
Troubleshoot issues and assist in developing solutions
Follow all Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
Log in and out of E2 system accurately
Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow PPE requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
Strong time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of quality system requirements
Experience using E2 or similar manufacturing systems
Familiarity with machine maintenance tasks
Proficient in job setup and machining operations
Experience with lock-out/tag-out procedures
Machine & Tool Experience (one or more required)
Fanuc controls
Fidia controls
Fadal controls
Equipment & Tools
Use of indicators, micrometers, calipers, and gage pins
Hi-Lo (forklift) operation
Crane operation
