Die Setter (1st Shift)

90-day contract-to-hire

Shift: 1st (Mon – Thurs 6AM – 4:30PM)

Pay: $18-$25 (Based on Experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Die Setters to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up and changing molds and dies, performing changeover activities, and ensuring production runs efficiently and safely. If you enjoy hands-on work, supporting operational processes, and collaborating with enthusiastic teams, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up molds efficiently and safely to ensure quality production output.

  • Perform timely mold and die changes while reporting any deficiencies or issues to the shift supervisor.

  • Communicate and coordinate manufacturing requirements with other shifts and team members.

  • Work closely with Shift Supervisors to ensure mold and color changes are completed effectively.

  • Receive and prepare scheduled mold change jobs, including molds, workstations, and auxiliary equipment.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area; ensure tools and equipment are stored properly.

  • Promote safe operations on each assigned mold change and maintain safety for yourself and coworkers.

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand, walk, sit, and use hands for tasks; climb stairs and reach overhead.

  • Frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds.

  • Good vision, color perception, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Perform kneeling, crouching, crawling, stooping, and climbing as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Experience working with molds, dies, or production changeovers is a plus.
