Job Title: Shipping Clerk / Material Handler (Aerospace)

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk / Material Handler to support our Aerospace department. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with competitive pay and the chance to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments of aerospace materials and components
Prepare and stage materials for production or shipment
Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with material tracking
Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and storage of all materials
Assist production teams with timely delivery of parts and materials
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and company standards
Qualifications:
Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or material handling, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing
Ability to read and interpret packing slips, invoices, and basic documentation
Comfortable operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and punctual; able to work a 6:00 AM shift
High school diploma or equivalent
