Project Manager (Utilities)

Position: Project Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to lead complex utility projects from initiation through closeout. This role requires strong leadership, technical coordination, and stakeholder management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working with cross-functional teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of project management including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout

  • Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution

  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders

  • Prepare status reports, financial forecasts, and executive presentations

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices

  • Mentor and support project coordinators and field personnel

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting critical deadlines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business

  • 5+ years of project management experience within the utility industry

  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
