Job Title: Electronics Team Lead
Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Team Lead to support and oversee our Electronics Production Team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading daily production activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and providing hands-on technical support in the assembly and troubleshooting of electronic components, cable assemblies, and printed circuit boards.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, leadership capability, and the ability to interpret diagrams, drawings, and specifications while driving team performance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support daily production assembly operations for electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies
Provide hands-on assistance with soldering, crimping, wiring, and PCB assembly
Assign work, monitor workflow, and ensure production schedules and deadlines are met
Train and mentor team members on assembly techniques, IPC standards, and quality expectations
Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, parts lists, and technical documentation
Ensure builds meet IPC-A-610 and IPC-620 standards
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to improve yield and efficiency
Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce rework, scrap, and downtime
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical and process concerns
Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant production environment
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associate degree in Electronics or related technical field preferred
IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-620 certification preferred
Solid understanding of electronic components, cable assemblies, and PCB builds
Skills & Competencies
Leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
Attention to detail and quality standards
Clear communication and organizational skills
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Experience Requirements
3โ5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing
Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
Experience with soldering, cable termination, PCB assembly, and electronic testing
Exposure to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices is a plus
