Customer Service / Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday
Pay: $25 – $27 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a Customer Service / Shipping & Receiving Clerk to play a key role in ensuring smooth and organized product flow to and from our facility. This position combines customer service responsibilities with shipping and receiving operations, supporting accurate order processing and timely fulfillment for customers.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, orders, and concerns.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and timely communication.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
Shipping & Receiving
Prepare, package, and label products for outbound shipments according to customer specifications and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with logistics providers to schedule and track deliveries.
Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and assist with inventory tracking.
Receive and inspect incoming materials to verify accuracy and quality.
Maintain organization and cleanliness in the shipping and receiving area.
Order Processing
Manage customer orders from entry through fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping.
Generate shipping documentation such as bills of lading and shipping labels.
Ensure shipments meet all customer-specific instructions and delivery requirements.
Monitor customer-specific compliance requirements.
Issue Resolution
Address customer inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Work closely with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently and maintain customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in logistics or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in customer service and shipping/receiving, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor, AutoCOR preferred) and Microsoft Office.
High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Familiarity with plastic injection molding or automotive industry standards is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Truck driving capability is a plus.
