Warehouse Manager

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials. This role ensures efficient warehouse processes, accurate inventory management, and strong team performance while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can coordinate logistics, improve productivity, and support operational goals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise warehouse staff, assign workloads, and coordinate daily tasks.
Train, coach, and develop warehouse associates.
Monitor and report on warehouse productivity and operational performance.
Coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely shipment of goods and materials.
Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary documentation.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through accurate receiving, identification, dispatching, and quality assurance of goods.
Measure and report the effectiveness of warehouse operations and employee performance.
Organize and maintain inventory within a clean and orderly storage area.
Communicate job expectations clearly and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Ensure safety procedures are followed, particularly when operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Conduct timely and constructive employee performance evaluations.
Escalate employee concerns to management when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or GED.
Associate degree in business, management, logistics, or a related field.
Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar leadership role.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and materials management.
Excellent time management and delegation skills.
Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and supervisory skills.
Experience with warehouse software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze operational data.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, logistics, or a related field.
3–5 years of supervisory experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements / Occupational Exposures
Standing and walking for extended periods (up to 100% of the workday).
Repetitive hand and finger movements.
Frequent lifting of 1–10 lbs; occasional lifting of 10–25 lbs; rare lifting up to 50 lbs.
Occasional twisting at the waist.
