About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to support high-level engineering projects in a remote capacity. This role involves preparing detailed mechanical designs and drawings while collaborating closely with engineering teams on complex, deadline-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare mechanical designs and drawings using NX1980 and Teamcenter 

• Apply ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards to all designs 

• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings for project deliverables 

• Perform tolerance analysis and stack-up calculations 

• Create layout designs and detailed component drawings 

• Collaborate with engineering teams to research and develop design solutions 

• Select appropriate materials and components for designs 

• Ensure all work meets project timelines and technical requirements 

Deliverables:

• Advanced 3D models and 2D drawings (NX1980) 

• Tolerance and stack-up analysis documentation 

• Detailed design packages aligned with project specifications 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Designer 

• Proficiency in NX1980 CAD and Teamcenter 

• Strong knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5-M-1994 or higher) 

• Experience working on deadline-driven engineering projects 

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills 

Additional Requirements:

• Must demonstrate NX1980 proficiency during a virtual interview (Zoom) 

• Ability to deliver high-quality, accurate design work on schedule 

Work Environment:

• Fully remote role 

• Work performed in alignment with established design and quality procedures
