Job Title: Maintenance Technician Assistant (2nd Shift – Temporary)
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour + 15% shift premium
Schedule: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Temporary 2nd-Shift Maintenance Technician Assistant to support our operations. This role provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, working alongside skilled technicians to build practical maintenance skills. There is potential for direct hire based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist maintenance technicians with routine repairs and preventative maintenance 

• Support troubleshooting of mechanical and basic electrical systems 

• Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in safe operating condition 

• Perform basic facility maintenance tasks as needed 

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies 

• Document completed work and report issues to the maintenance team 

Requirements:

• Ability to work 2nd shift consistently (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) 

• Basic mechanical aptitude; prior maintenance or manufacturing experience preferred 

• Ability to use basic hand and power tools 

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods 

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic 

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
