Location: Avis, PA (On-site)
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $60,000 – $75,000 per year

Overview

We are a leading provider in the long-term care industry, committed to improving the lives of the patients and communities we serve through high-quality care and exceptional service. We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to support facility-level HR operations and help build a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture.

This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about employee engagement, talent development, and supporting operational leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR liaison for nursing center leadership, employees, and candidates 
  • Support all aspects of employment including recruiting, retention, training, and employee relations 
  • Assist with compensation, benefits administration, and leave of absence processes 
  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment for designated roles within the facility 
  • Partner with leadership to develop engagement, retention, recognition, and workforce planning strategies 
  • Monitor key HR metrics including retention, employee satisfaction, and performance indicators 
  • Ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and pay practices 
  • Support compliance with applicable labor laws and collective bargaining agreements 
  • Contribute to development and training initiatives to support employee growth 
  • Collaborate with leadership to maintain a positive and inclusive workplace culture 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred 
  • SPHR/PHR certification preferred 
  • 3+ years of HR experience preferred 
  • Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred 
  • Experience with HR systems and workforce management tools preferred 
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed in a 24/7 environment 
  • Willingness to travel as required
