Job Title: Quality Inspector
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour | Contract-to-hire
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support aerospace manufacturing operations in Roseville, MI. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential.
The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical inspection, blueprint reading, and quality documentation, along with a willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret work orders, inspection manuals, and blueprints to determine inspection requirements
- Inspect materials, in-process work, and finished products for conformance to specifications
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measurement tools
- Record inspection data and compare results against engineering drawings and standards
- Mark and document products as accepted or rejected based on findings
- Test and measure components and assemblies to verify functionality and accuracy
- Communicate inspection results with team members and supervisors
- Maintain clear, accurate, and organized inspection records
- Assist with problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all quality policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Support compliance with aerospace manufacturing quality standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical inspection and visual quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with measurement tools and inspection equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work within a team
