Job Title: Material Handler
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift: 6:00 AM Start
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00/hr

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support daily warehouse and production operations. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for someone with inventory experience, strong attention to detail, and basic computer skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing manual cycle counts and working within inventory systems to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, move, and stage materials throughout the facility 
• Perform manual cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy checks 
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and adjustments 
• Use computer systems and ERP platforms to track materials and updates 
• Support shipping, receiving, and production material needs 
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and product locations 
• Assist in maintaining organized and efficient warehouse operations 
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines 
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to supervisors as needed 

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse, or material handling roles 
• Experience performing cycle counts or physical inventory counts 
• Basic computer skills required 
• Experience with ERP systems preferred (SAP or similar systems a plus) 
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in fast-paced environments 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Ability to lift, move, and organize materials as needed 
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
