Job Title: Manufacturing Project Coordinator

Job Type: Full-Time | In-Person

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 annually, based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Project Coordinator to support customer accounts, quoting, order entry, purchasing coordination, project follow-up, and production communication within an electronic manufacturing environment. This is not a traditional sales role and does not require cold calling or direct selling. The role is focused on supporting existing customers, reviewing prints and BOMs, coordinating with internal teams, helping with purchase orders and invoices, and keeping projects moving through production.

The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, excellent Excel skills, ERP experience, and the ability to work closely with purchasing, production, quality, engineering, customer service, and outside sales teams. Experience with printed circuit boards, cables, harnesses, box builds, or panel enclosures is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotes, job costing, and sales order entries 
  • Review customer prints, drawings, specifications, and bills of materials 
  • Break down BOMs and enter BOMs, jobs, and order details into the ERP system 
  • Use Excel to organize pricing, customer data, order details, and project information 
  • Coordinate with purchasing, manufacturing, quality, production, engineering, and outside sales teams 
  • Assist with purchase orders, placing orders, supplier communication, and material sourcing 
  • Help resolve material shortages, scheduling concerns, production issues, and customer needs 
  • Track customer orders and provide updates on timelines, materials, and project status 
  • Review invoices, order details, pricing, and job documentation for accuracy 
  • Maintain communication with current customers and support account needs 
  • Work with suppliers and internal teams to keep projects moving 
  • Support purchasing processes, material planning, supplier management, and labor estimating 
  • Use ERP and CRM systems to manage customer, order, and project information 
  • Provide customer service support and problem-solving assistance as needed 

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • Manufacturing experience required 
  • Sales experience is not required 
  • Quoting, job costing, order entry, or project coordination experience preferred 
  • Experience reading prints, drawings, and customer specifications 
  • BOM review, BOM breakdown, or BOM entry experience 
  • Experience with purchase orders, placing orders, invoices, or supplier communication 
  • Excellent Excel skills required 
  • ERP system experience required; Epicor experience is a plus 
  • CRM software experience is a plus 
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and general computer systems 
  • Ability to coordinate with purchasing, production, quality, engineering, and customer service teams 
  • Experience with PCB assemblies, cables, harnesses, box builds, or panel enclosures preferred but not required 
  • Able to manage multiple quotes, orders, projects, and customer requests 
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly and follow through on project needs 
  • Comfortable communicating with customers, vendors, suppliers, and internal departments
