Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Lunch: 1 Hour
Starting Pay: $18.50–$19.00/hour
Pay Increase: Review after 90 days; exceptional performance may increase pay to $20–$21/hour

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Order Picker / Pallet Jack Operator to support daily warehouse operations. The majority of the position will involve operating a sit-down electric Toyota forklift, with additional responsibilities for order picking using an electric pallet jack.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately pick and stage orders according to SKU numbers, item numbers, and pallet locations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a sit-down electric Toyota forklift approximately 70% of the time 
  • Safely move, load, unload, and position materials throughout the warehouse 
  • Operate an electric pallet jack for order picking 
  • Pick orders accurately using SKU numbers and item numbers 
  • Ensure pallets are placed in their designated numbered locations 
  • Handle and move boxes of tile and other warehouse materials 
  • Follow warehouse safety procedures and operating requirements 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area 
  • Work cooperatively with coworkers and management 
  • Perform other warehouse duties as needed 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of forklift operating experience required 
  • Previous experience operating a sit-down electric forklift 
  • Toyota forklift experience preferred 
  • Current forklift certification required; additional certification will be provided on-site 
  • Experience operating an electric pallet jack 
  • Experience with order picking and warehouse operations 
  • Ability to accurately read and match SKU numbers and item numbers 
  • Ability to lift and handle boxes of tile and other materials 
  • Dependable and reliable 
  • Team-oriented and able to work well with coworkers and management 
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures 
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work 
  • Steel-toed shoes required
