Pay: $28–$33/hour, based on skill and background

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Jig Grinder to perform precision grinding on close-tolerance tooling and components. Candidates must have previous hands-on Jig Grinding experience. This is a precision role requiring the ability to work to extremely tight tolerances and accurately inspect finished parts.
Candidates with additional backgrounds in tool & die, mold making, aerospace/aircraft, precision machine shops, automotive, or service/repair are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate jig grinding equipment.
- Perform precision grinding of holes, bores, contours, and other close-tolerance features.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
- Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy.
- Perform in-process and final inspections.
- Grind components to exact specifications and required finishes.
- Identify dimensional issues and make appropriate corrections.
- Maintain grinding equipment and a clean, organized work area.
- Work closely with machinists, toolmakers, mold makers, and engineering personnel.
Requirements
- Must have hands-on Jig Grinding experience.
- Ability to work with tight tolerances and precision dimensions.
- Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
- Ability to use micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Ability to set up and operate jig grinding equipment independently.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Experience in a tool & die, mold, aerospace/aircraft, precision machine shop, automotive, or service environment is a plus.
