Position Overview

We are seeking a Shipping / Crating Associate to prepare industrial equipment, products, and components for shipment. This position requires the ability to follow blueprints and work instructions, use hand and power tools, and ensure products are properly assembled and prepared according to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and written or verbal directions.
  • Assemble and prepare products and components for shipment.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete shipping and crating assignments.
  • Follow established procedures to ensure products are properly prepared for transport.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Inspect and maintain tools and equipment according to established procedures.
  • Work with team members to troubleshoot production and shipping preparation issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Follow safety guidelines and established work procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, shipping, crating, or related experience.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and work instructions.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and product quality.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and commitment to workplace safety.

This is a day-shift production position.
