Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM–4:30 PM

Job Description

As a Die Setter, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently setting and removing molds, dies, and lead changeover activities. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up efficient, safe, and timely mold changes. 
  • Ensure molds are set safely and according to current industry standards. 
  • Perform timely mold changes according to the production schedule. 
  • Communicate and coordinate manufacturing requirements with other shifts. 
  • Communicate with the Shift Supervisor regarding pending mold and color changes. 
  • Receive the scheduled job lineup and prepare molds, workstations, and auxiliary equipment. 
  • Perform continuous housekeeping during mold setting and removal. 
  • Ensure molds, tools, and equipment are properly cleaned and stored. 
  • Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment as needed. 
  • Follow proper safety procedures during all mold changes. 
  • Maintain a safe work environment for all employees working around the mold set. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, stoop, and climb stairs. 
  • Ability to use hands and arms to handle tools, equipment, and materials. 
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. 
  • Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment. 
  • Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
