Pay: $24.00–$30.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Inspector with experience operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to inspect precision-machined parts. The ideal candidate will have experience with Zeiss CMMs, Calypso software (or similar), precision measuring tools, and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and program CMM equipment to inspect manufactured parts. 
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections. 
  • Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges. 
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements. 
  • Select the appropriate measuring equipment based on part features and tolerances. 
  • Verify parts meet quality specifications and identify nonconforming products. 
  • Document inspection results and communicate quality concerns to production. 
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. 

Qualifications

  • Experience with Zeiss CMM and Calypso software (or similar CMM software). 
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. 
  • Experience inspecting a variety of machined parts in a job shop or manufacturing environment. 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T. 
  • Understanding of proper measuring device selection based on part features and print requirements. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
