Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Compensation: $24–$31 per hour

Position Overview
A brand-new, dedicated role created to manage our NC group's rapid growth (~30% YoY revenue growth for 4 consecutive years). Scheduling was previously done by a committee across the programming team; this person will now own the master schedule for all CNC production and tooling equipment.
Candidate Profile
- Organized, tech-savvy, and a strong communicator
- 2–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Open to both junior and experienced candidates
- Teachable and adaptable; we prefer someone who is open to learning and new processes
- Machining experience is a plus but not required
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and changing production needs
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the master schedule for CNC production and tooling equipment
- Coordinate machine time and production priorities to prevent conflicts between hot jobs
- Plan upcoming work approximately 4 weeks in advance
- Monitor production schedules and identify potential delays or conflicts
- Identify capacity constraints and potential outsourcing needs early
- Communicate scheduling priorities with Programming, Production, Tooling, Materials, and other teams
- Adjust schedules as priorities, capacity, and production requirements change
- Maintain accurate scheduling information and provide visibility into upcoming workload
- Support efficient machine utilization and overall production flow
Key Challenges to Solve
- Eliminate conflicts over hot jobs competing for machine time
- Prevent schedule lags by ensuring planning begins well before material reaches the floor
- Identify capacity constraints and outsourcing needs early
- Improve visibility and ownership of the overall CNC production schedule
Reporting Structure
Reports directly to the Production Operations Manager.
Systems & Tools
- Machine Metrics is the primary scheduling tool
- ERP experience is helpful but trainable
- Comfortable working with scheduling, production, and manufacturing systems preferred
