Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

Seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to perform field, pump station, building, grounds, vehicle, and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate has mechanical ability, can work independently, and is willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sewer systems, pump stations, buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment.
• Inspect pump stations daily.
• Perform MISS DIG markings.
• Handle lawn care, snow removal, painting, cleaning, and general maintenance.
• Participate in rotating weekend on-call coverage and after-hours emergency call-ins.
• Follow safety procedures and MIOSHA requirements, including confined-space procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to follow directions and work independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and meet bonding requirements.
