Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: Starting at $25.00/hour, with potential for increases based on experience, performance, and reliability

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class B CDL Driver to handle deliveries throughout New York, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating commercial trucks, strong knowledge of safe driving practices, and the ability to efficiently manage daily delivery routes.

The driver will report to our facility every morning by 7:30 AM. Trucks should be preloaded the previous day for the following day's deliveries to ensure the driver can begin their route efficiently each morning.

  • Surrounding areas
  • Occasional driving through Manhattan may be required, but regular Manhattan deliveries are not expected

Responsibilities

  • Report to the facility every morning by 7:30 AM
  • Operate a Class B commercial truck safely and responsibly
  • Complete assigned delivery routes throughout NY, PA, and surrounding areas
  • Utilize trucks that are preloaded the previous day for the next day's deliveries
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Check and report any mechanical, safety, or maintenance issues
  • Safely operate liftgate equipment and electric pallet jacks
  • Load, unload, and deliver materials safely and efficiently
  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using GPS and navigation tools
  • Navigate traffic, construction, restricted truck routes, and changing road conditions
  • Complete all scheduled stops and deliveries during the workday
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained truck
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service at delivery locations
  • Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality

Requirements

  • Valid Class B CDL
  • Hands-on experience operating a Class B commercial truck
  • Experience with diesel trucks and DEF systems
  • Experience operating a liftgate
  • Experience using an electric pallet jack
  • Ability to perform and document pre-trip/post-trip inspections
  • Clean and responsible driving history, ideally covering the past 7–10 years
  • No serious moving violations, reckless driving, DUI, or major driving offenses
  • Minor violations may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
  • Parking tickets are not considered a major concern
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials as required
  • Reliable transportation to and from the facility
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work a full Monday–Friday schedule

Compensation

Starting at $25.00/hour, with the opportunity for an increase based on experience, performance, reliability, and overall job performance.
