  • Job Title:  CNC Lathe/Mill  Programmer/set-up tech
  • Job description and requirements:
    • Machine shop experience including setup and operation of CNC machining centers
    • Minimum 3 years' experience CNC programming (manually and offline)
    • Ability to set up jobs on the Horizontal CNC Machining Centers & Lathes
    • Must have own tools and experience with Fanuc controls
    • Experience motivating employees to achieve a common goal of satisfying customers needs
    • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with G & M codes
    • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints with GD&T tolerancing
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Proven ability to work cross functionally
    • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
    • Must be available to work overtime and weekends when needed
    • Salary consideration is based on experience and skills
    • Attend APQP meetings and giving input on new production job launches.
    • Perform machine set-ups on repeat production runs
    • Help production operators change tooling and troubleshooting production runs
    • Must have experience with production fixtures (manual and hydraulic)
    • Must have experience machining aluminum and iron castings in a production environment
    • Understand care and use of gages
    • You must have proven programming experience in a production shop
