Janitorial / Sweeper

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $15.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Janitorial/Sweeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility. This position will focus on general cleaning, sweeping, housekeeping, and maintaining common areas throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep and clean shop floors, walkways, and work areas
• Remove trash, debris, and other materials from designated areas
• Maintain clean and organized production and common areas
• Clean and maintain break rooms, restrooms, and other facility areas
• Keep equipment and surrounding areas free of dirt, dust, and debris
• Assist with general housekeeping duties throughout the facility
• Report spills, damaged equipment, or safety concerns to a supervisor
• Maintain cleaning supplies and notify a supervisor when supplies are needed
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, cleaning, sweeping, or general labor experience preferred
• Comfortable performing repetitive cleaning and physical tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
• Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to cleanliness and maintaining an organized work area
• Willingness to assist with general housekeeping duties as needed
