Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $15.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Janitorial/Sweeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility. This position will focus on general cleaning, sweeping, housekeeping, and maintaining common areas throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Sweep and clean shop floors, walkways, and work areas
- Remove trash, debris, and other materials from designated areas
- Maintain clean and organized production and common areas
- Clean and maintain break rooms, restrooms, and other facility areas
- Keep equipment and surrounding areas free of dirt, dust, and debris
- Assist with general housekeeping duties throughout the facility
- Report spills, damaged equipment, or safety concerns to a supervisor
- Maintain cleaning supplies and notify a supervisor when supplies are needed
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, cleaning, sweeping, or general labor experience preferred
- Comfortable performing repetitive cleaning and physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to cleanliness and maintaining an organized work area
- Willingness to assist with general housekeeping duties as needed
