Job Title: Certified Welder

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Welder to support the launch of a new welding department within our manufacturing operation. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a dependable candidate with stable work history, solid manufacturing experience, and required certifications in D32028-1, D32028-2, and D32028-3 weld specifications.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments and be able to complete fitting and welding requirements accurately while maintaining high quality standards throughout the fabrication process.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding operations according to D32028-1, D32028-2, and D32028-3 weld specifications
- Complete fitting and welding details per engineering and production requirements
- Ensure all salmon-colored surfaces receive required 1/4” machine stock addition
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld specifications, and production documentation
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance standards are met
- Complete and maintain required CWI reports and welding documentation
- Support setup and development of new welding department operations
- Maintain safe and organized work areas while following company safety procedures
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure production goals are achieved
Qualifications:
- D32028-1, D32028-2, and D32028-3 welding certifications REQUIRED
- Previous welding experience in manufacturing or industrial environments required
- Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Experience completing fitting, fabrication, and weld prep work
- Knowledge of welding quality standards and inspection processes
- Stable work history and reliable attendance required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
