Job Title: Material Handler – Plastic Injection Molding
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift: 6:00 AM Start
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support plastic injection molding production operations. This role is responsible for handling raw materials, specifically plastic resins, and ensuring materials are properly staged, supplied, and tracked throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with resins in a manufacturing environment and be comfortable supporting fast-paced production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, move, and stage plastic resin materials for injection molding production 
  • Supply production lines with correct materials based on job requirements 
  • Monitor resin usage and assist with inventory accuracy 
  • Perform material identification, labeling, and tracking tasks 
  • Support cycle counts and inventory verification activities 
  • Maintain organized and clean material storage and staging areas 
  • Assist production teams with material changeovers and replenishment 
  • Follow all safety procedures and handling guidelines for resin materials 
  • Communicate material shortages or discrepancies to supervisors 
  • Support overall production flow in a manufacturing environment 

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in plastic injection molding environment required 
  • Direct experience handling plastic resins required 
  • Understanding of resin types, material flow, or material feeding systems preferred 
  • Prior material handling or warehouse experience 
  • Ability to perform cycle counts and basic inventory tasks 
  • Basic computer skills for tracking and reporting materials 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Ability to lift, move, and stage materials in a production environment 
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work early morning shift (6:00 AM start)
