Job Overview
The Materials Handler/Kitter is responsible for pulling and preparing materials required for production, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This role supports production efficiency by organizing, staging, and delivering materials to the appropriate areas while maintaining inventory control and adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pull parts and materials according to work orders and production schedules

  • Accurately kit materials and label components for production use

  • Transport materials to designated areas using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified)

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies

  • Organize and restock inventory in an orderly and efficient manner

  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits

  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment

  • Communicate with team members and supervisors to support production flow

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic

  • Forklift experience/certification a plus but not required
