Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

Maintenance Technician 
Shift:
3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Pay: (depending on experience) | OT available
Assignment Type: Contract – Plant Labor

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Fort Wayne manufacturing facility. This role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of production equipment, including CNC lathes and warm forge presses.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment per codes and blueprints

  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions, repair or replace faulty parts, and ensure proper operation

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and electrical systems

  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacement

  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and plant personnel to resolve issues and improve processes

Requirements:

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Experience in maintenance roles, ideally in a production environment with CNC machines or mechanical presses

  • Knowledge of AC/DC drives, servo motors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial control systems

  • Ability to read and troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic blueprints

  • Basic computer skills and strong oral/written communication

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed

Preferred:

  • Candidates strong in electrical maintenance are preferred, but mechanical-focused applicants will be considered

Additional Information:

  • Estimated 40 hours per week, overtime expected

  • Drug screen and background check required
