General A Sequencer scans specific parts to be matched to specific end items for the assembly line. It is imperative that the Sequencer follows Managements directive regarding parts being shipped/packed/scanned.
Primary Duties:
Pull parts in broadcast order, scan and label as required and stage in specified slot order in sequencing racks.
Perform all required documentation.
Maintain assigned sequencing cell to always ensure cleanliness and ease of operation, during hours of operation.
Assist with physical counts of inventory as required, notifying supervision of possible shortages.
Perform housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal etc.
Be able to communicate with Management, Material Handlers/Forklift Operator and Team Leads, as required.
Be able to work at a constant, steady pace during assigned work hours.
Requirements: Education and Experience:
High school education or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
Minimum 3 to 6 months experience and/or training in a warehouse environment
Experience using 1 to 3 pieces of warehouse equipment.
Essential Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Repetitive lifting of up to 20-50 lbs for entire shift
Repetitive bending, twisting, reaching with both arms, and grasping parts.
Continuous standing and walking may be required.
Good eyesight depth perception and hearing.
Other duties as required and assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:be able to lift 10-20 pounds the whole shift.
Shift Type:B shift. 2P-10P M-F (some Saturdays and Sundays that are notified on Thursdays of the same week).
