Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. Monitor backup/archive jobs with the Veeam Availability suite. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related area and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision of the Computer Operations Manager. Under the guidance of the Network Architect will follow adherence and best practices to ensure CJIS/LEIN requirements are met. The court utilizes a robust set of technologies, candidate must be willing to learn new technologies and be willing to adapt to the Courts architecture and design. Installing, configuring, and administering Microsoft Windows 10/11
Managing and maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2019 environment including performing operating system upgrades
Have a functional understanding of Linux as the court transitions from CentOS to Ubuntu as the platform standard
Implementing, managing, and maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2019 network infrastructure:
Implement and monitor security on networks and computer systems, and respond to security breaches.
Understanding of micro segmentation VLAN tagging and IP sub netting
Understanding of DHCP servers
Basic Understanding of System Center Config Manager
Understanding of GPO deployment
Understanding of Print server services
Understanding of Boundary groups and DFSR replication across AD
Must be familiar with working in a secure controlled environment
Must be comfortable with environment to work independently to resolve problems on a regular on-call rotation
Under direction of the Network Architect transition all servers to headless Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2022 core network infrastructure
Planning, implementing, and maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Active Directory infrastructure
Designing security for a Microsoft Windows Server 2019 network
Implementing and administering security in a Microsoft Windows Server 2019 network
Experience working with Tivoli Storage Manager.
In addition to the Windows Server 2019 environment, the Systems Administrator will also be responsible for proper tagging of traffic within the Juniper network environment, and able to do basic troubleshooting in Linux, Vmware environment
